Current Position

I am currently a post-doc researcher working at the Department of Mathematical Logic of the Albert-Ludwings-Universitaet in Freiburg.

Curriculum Vitae

Here one can take a look at my CV.

Diploma Thesis- Teoria della Probabilita`: Teoremi Classici di Convergenza, supervised by Prof. Fabio Rapallo, Universita` degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale, June 29th, 2006.
Master Thesis- Cardinali Inaccessibili e Lebesgue Misurabilta`, supervised by Prof. Alessandro Andretta, Universita` degli Studi di Torino, October 1st, 2008.
PhD Thesis- Arboreal forcing notions and regularity properties of the real line, supervised by Prof. Dr. Sy Friedman, Universitaet Wien, 2012. (pdf below)

Research interests

Set theory, with particular emphasis on the set theory of the real line and the method of forcing.

Papers

  1. Arboreal forcing notions and regularity properties of the real line, PhD thesis, Universitaet Wien, April 2012. (supervised by: Prof. Dr. Sy David Frieman)
  2. On the separation of regularity properties of the real line, submitted.
  3. Some considerations on Amoeba forcing notions, submitted.

Some notes

  1. Set Theory, Forcing and Real Line. Very brief and informal notes on ZFC theory and forcing method, with some emphasis on the applications to questions concerning real numbers.

Project Proposal

Here you can find some open questions that I consider noteworthy, and which I will focus on a considerable part of my research in the coming years.
